Once upon a time...
...there was a girl who always wanted to work in the movie business. After graduating college, she got a job at a 3D film production company. One day, she overheard a boy passionately discussing a film project he was working on and instantly became infatuated. Over the next few months, she dropped hints that they should hang out until he eventually invited her out to Monday night bowling. The two became friends and traveled often, working on film shoots and attending 3D film festivals. They had many amazing adventures, and after a year of friendship he finally kissed her at a Halloween party!
A little over a year later, Ariela and Andrew moved to Los Angeles to pursue their careers in film. They continued their travels, trekking around Europe, the Caribbean and all over the US. They joined a bowling league, explored what LA had to offer, and staked out all the pizza and sushi restaurants in Southern California. One sunny day, they went to the Getty Museum and Andrew convinced Ariela to go to the roof of one of the buildings to take pictures. His plan was to propose there, but he got so nervous he proposed in the stairway instead! She of course said yes, and the wedding plans began...
We feel very lucky to have such wonderful friends and family, and we are so happy to share our story with you all. We look forward to celebrating with you and toasting to the next chapter of our journey together!

Matron of Honor - Marissa and I have known each other since 1st grade and she is like a sister to me! Marissa grew up down the street and we’d walk to each other’s houses to play Barbies, watch Full House or Saved By the Bell, and show off our new beanie babies. We did ice skating, girl scouts and Hebrew school together. She is also responsible for my crazy obsession with sushi! I love her so much and have always known she’d be by my side at my wedding ever since we were kids.
Bridesmaid - Erica and I go way back to Freshman Year at the U of A, when she helped me move into my new dorm room. She has always been an incredibly sweet, amazing friend and we’ve been through so much together! We were roommates in college, travelled to Israel together, and share a deep love for spa days and the movie Zoolander. I can’t wait to take those Blue Steel shots with her at my wedding! There are just too many good times to count, and I’m so lucky to have her as a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid - Chelsea and I have been friends for over 8 years! We met in film school but became close when we both got into the BFA program. We’ve been getting into shenanigans and causing trouble ever since. I love that I can talk with Chelsea about anything-- she just gets me! She has always been my partner in crime, and now we work right near each other. I love our lunch dates and can’t wait for all the good times to come as we become real grown-ups (or try to, anyway!).
Bridesmaid - Since Andrew and I started dating, I have loved getting to know Wendy and truly enjoy hanging out with her at family get-togethers. I feel like Wendy and I are similar in a lot of ways-- we are both down-to-earth, level-headed, long-term planners who share a love of Oscar nominated films. We’ve had so much fun hanging by the pool in Indio and going around Disneyland, and I’m super excited for her to be my sister-in-law!
Bridesmaid - I’m so lucky to get not one but TWO sister-in-laws! Alysia is so much fun and always knows how to have a great time. I love her positivity and sense of humor. We’ve had some amazing times tearin’ it up on the dance floor on the Caribbean cruise, beach camping in San Elijo and whenever she comes out to hear my dad’s band play music. I can’t wait to officially become part of the family and have many more fun times with her! I'm also thrilled to have Ruby, her daughter, be my flower girl and Logan, her son, be my ring bearer!
Best Man - Andrew and I went to school together from 2nd grade through college, where we both studied film at SDSU, and he is the reason I adopted the nickname Bruce (long story). We have been inseparable for the past 15 years-- we worked at Apple together, were in cub and boy scouts together, both joined the swim team, drove Tacoma trucks and always liked geeking out on all things tech. I’ll never forget our trip out to Washington DC to see the Dave Matthews concert, or our marathon 35 hour trip to Colorado with friends. Ari and I love hanging out with Andrew and his wife Leslie and can’t wait for all the good times to come. I’m honored to have him as the best man at my wedding!
Groomsmen - Matt and I have experienced a lot together since I was 5 years old. We were always playing basketball in his mom’s front yard and baseball at the park. We spent countless Fridays at Roundtable Pizza and went to school together from K-12. We both became interested in graphic design, a passion Matt pursued in his career. I was there for his engagement to Nicole and photographed their proposal at Sea World. He is my oldest friend and I couldn’t imagine getting married without him there.
Groomsmen - I’ve known Kevin his entire life seeing as how we’re cousins! We both love camping, beer and bowling-- in fact, Ari and I first started hanging out when she came bowling with me and Kevin Monday nights at Parkway Bowl. Kevin is my Windows counterpart-- we share a love of technology and love to debate operating systems like the geeks we are. As the first of my friends and family to have met Ari, I’m excited he’ll be standing by me at our wedding.
Groomsmen - I met Adam at the Apple Store, and shortly after that we moved to LA together where we were roommates. We partied and golfed a lot while pursuing careers in the film industry. We’re both editors and he thinks he knows more than me, which he of course doesn’t. He was so intimidated by me he moved back to the Bay Area (just kidding) but I’m always trying to convince him to move back to San Diego so we can get back to golfing all the time-- especially since I now work for Titleist (ya Adam, I know you’re jealous!). But in all seriousness, Adam is a great friend to me and I know we’ll have lots of fun at the bachelor party, wedding and years to come.
Groomsmen - I couldn’t ask for a better future brother-in-law. Ethan and I both love talking politics and he introduced me to my all-time favorite game and pastime, SETTLERS OF CATAN! I’ve had a great time visiting him with the Sterns in New Orleans and listening to him play music. We also had good times hanging out around San Diego, wine tasting in the Bay Area for his 21st birthday, and I can’t wait for many more fun family outings. I’m grateful he’ll be standing up there with me as a groomsmen and am looking forward to becoming an official part of the family!
